A Norwegian fugitive wanted over the stabbing of a 15-year-old boy in an e-cigarette deal dispute was arrested at a condominium in Thailand.

Olaf, 19, reportedly stabbed the teenager during a row over a vape transaction in Norway, leaving the alleged victim with serious injuries.

He was wanted for attempted murder and causing grievous bodily harm and was the subject of an Interpol Red Notice.

Norwegian authorities also revoked his passport before Thai immigration officers tracked him down to a condominium in Samut Prakan, near Bangkok, on October 20.

Footage shows police storming Olaf's condo unit in the Bang Phli district.

He allegedly admitted he was the wanted individual, but declined to give further details about the case.

Police revoked his visa and took him into custody. He was taken to the Investigation Division of Immigration Bureau 3 for questioning and further legal proceedings.

Police Major General Songprod Sirisukha, commander of Immigration Division 3, said all immigration units were working with international law enforcement agencies to track down foreign fugitives entering Thailand.

He said: ‘Thailand does not welcome transnational criminals and will not allow the country to become a hideout for offenders from abroad, especially those who enter Thailand and commit crimes that threaten public safety, which is absolutely unacceptable.

‘We will continue to track them down and enforce the law, regardless of where they are hiding.'
