South Korean porn star arrested over 'drug-fuelled sex videos' at his condo in Thailand

A South Korean porn star was arrested for allegedly producing drug-fuelled sex videos from his condo in Thailand.
Louis Kim, 30, allegedly recorded the explicit videos while high on narcotics at the property in 'Sin City' Pattaya.
Police raided his room on June 21, after discovering he recorded a sex video with a Thai woman, allegedly violating local laws that ban pornography.
They stormed the condo and detained the heavily-tattooed Korean.
A sweep of his room also found four bags of crystal methamphetamine weighing around 0.75 ounces (21.36 grammes), three bags of ketamine weighing 10.7 ounces (304.32 grammes), 296 ecstasy pills, and nine vape pods laced with hallucinogenic Etomidate.
Louis, who also has sex with other men, allegedly admitted he was the individual in the adult video.
He was charged with 'importing obscene computer data into a computer system in a manner accessible to the public and distributing obscene materials' and drug-related charges under the Narcotics Code for possession of Category 1 and Category 2 narcotics with intent to distribute.
Police Lieutenant Colonel Ithithorn Prasertsak of Immigration Division 3 said investigations were underway to find the source of the illegal drugs.
He said: ‘After the arrest, we handed over the suspect and seized evidence to the inquiry officer for further legal action.
‘We will expand the investigation into the source of all the narcotics and Pod K precursors to determine whether they are linked to other cases and whether any other individuals are involved or providing support.
‘Furthermore, we will continue to suppress transnational crime and offences committed by foreigners to maintain public order and safety.'
Under Section 287(1) of Thailand's Criminal Code, adults more than 18 years old who appear in pornography for trade, import, production, or distribution may face up to three years in prison, a fine of up to 60,000 baht or both.
They may also be charged for violating Section 14(4) of the Computer Crime Act for 'importing obscene data into a computer system accessible to the general public'. The offence carries a penalty of up to five years in prison, a fine of up to 100,000 baht or both.
