A sobbing little girl begged police not to arrest her father as officers raided a suspected drug den in Thailand.

The dad, 46, was allegedly packing methamphetamine pills and crystal meth into small bags for sale in front of his daughter when armoured officers stormed the cluttered apartment in Bangkok on May 18.

Footage shows police combing through the property in the Thung Kru District, believed to be used as a drug den by the suspect and his 35-year-old wife.

But when cops moved in to arrest him, his terrified daughter burst into tears, wailing not to take her father away.

Heartbreaking footage shows the child crying ‘What's wrong with my dad? Please don't arrest him.' as police detained the shirtless dad, seen sitting on the floor of his daughter's room decorated in cartoon posters and stuffed toys.

Police combed through the messy flat, ripping apart ceiling panels before uncovering more meth pills hidden inside sealed blue packets hidden among piles of boxes and plastic containers.

Officials arrested the couple and seized more than 200,000 baht of drugs and assets. They were charged with 'jointly possessing Category 1 narcotics for sale, and engaging in illegal trade and distributing them among the public'.

During questioning, the father allegedly admitted buying meth pills in bulk for 2,000 baht per bag of 200 pills, along with 100 grams of crystal meth for 24,000 baht.

He allegedly resold the drugs for 30 baht per pill and 300 baht per gram of crystal meth.

Investigators also found bank transactions showing around 3.8 million baht in drug sales over the past year.

Police said he was a major drug distributor who was previously arrested in 12 drug-related cases.
