Police arrested eight foreigners in a raid on a Chinese-run brothel disguised as a wellness spa in Thailand.

Immigration officers stormed the Gu Zhu Lin Health Spa in Rayong following claims the business was offering illegal prostitution services to Chinese clients.

Undercover agents found that staff were offering 'body-to-body' massages as well as sex with female workers for 4,500 baht per 50-minute session.

The officers were then taken to upstairs rooms, which had been converted into a brothel stocked with condoms and lubricants.

Two naked Vietnamese women were allegedly preparing to provide sexual services before police moved in to make arrests.

Footage shows officers raiding a bedroom, where they reportedly found a woman naked in bed with a client.

Another clip showed a male customer wearing only a towel around his waist as he answered the door.

Eight suspects, including two Chinese managers, were arrested and face multiple charges over prostitution, immigration, and illegal employment offences.

They were identified as Chinese madam Yunping, 51, Chinese manager and security officer Binglian, 51, Vietnamese nationals Thi Be, 32, and Thi Bich, 29, and Myanmar nationals Yan, 32, Nang Mo, 44, Nan, 37, and Win Yee, 47.

Yunping also faces additional charges of employing undocumented migrants, procuring prostitution, operating a brothel and aiding illegal immigrants.

Police Lieutenant Colonel Pitiphat Srithanaapinan of Immigration Division 3 said: ‘We conducted a thorough screening process under the National Referral Mechanism to assist and protect potential victims of human trafficking among all the female employees at the shop to determine whether they had been forced, coerced, or qualified as victims of human trafficking.

‘The results of the examination showed no indication that they had fallen victim to human trafficking networks in any way.'

The Immigration Bureau vowed to continue its crackdown on illegal foreign-owned businesses in Thailand.
