A South Korean porn site admin wanted by Interpol over alleged child porn distribution was arrested at a luxury condominium in Thailand.

The fugitive from the Far East, identified only as Lee, reportedly ran pornographic websites in South Korea, where porn is largely illegal.

He is understood to have distributed dozens of sexually explicit videos featuring girls under the age of 16.

But Lee fled to Thailand in early 2026 as South Korean police moved to arrest him.

Law enforcement officials issued a warrant and sought an Interpol Red Notice before coordinating with Thai authorities to hunt Lee.

The Immigration Bureau on October 12 tracked the child sex abuse suspect to Bangkok's affluent Thong Lo district, where he had been living in a luxury condo.

Lee was detained and his visa was revoked. He allegedly admitted to running an illegal pornography website based in South Korea.

He was transferred to an Immigration Bureau detention centre to await deportation to South Korea, where he faces prosecution.

Police Lieutenant General Nopphasin Poolsawat, Commissioner of the Immigration Bureau, said: 'We are working to ensure that foreign nationals who break the law or flee prosecution in their home countries cannot use Thailand as a safe haven.

'We will continue to strengthen our intelligence operations, improve security and work with international partners to track down offenders and dismantle criminal networks.

'At the same time, we want to ensure that legitimate tourists and investors can visit Thailand without unnecessary difficulties.'
